Service Delivery Manager – Successful IT Company

Our client enables their customers to utilise a business-as-normal mentality regardless of their IT landscape through the provision of exceptional managed IT support and professional services. They are now looking for a Service Delivery Manager to join their team.

As the Service Delivery Manager, you’ll be responsible for the smooth running of customers’ systems and network infrastructure, ensuring that they get maximum benefit from their investment. 

Overseeing the Managed Services Support Desk, you’ll establish policies to ensure a high quality service is consistently delivered and monitor the performance of the Service Desk Team. 

Collaborating with colleagues, you’ll extend the suite of the Managed Services offering and select and specify new services for introduction. 

You’ll incorporate best industry practices into the Service Desk function and introduce new tools and systems. Additionally, you’ll proactively engage with customers and evaluate their feedback to develop quality improvement processes. 

Your other duties will involve: 

- Fostering an environment that focuses on quality, cost reduction and process development 
- Mitigating and resolving escalations with urgency and determination 
- Attending customer service review meetings 

To be considered, you must have at least two years’ experience in a service delivery role. Strong leadership skills and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving are also key. 

Flexible and innovative, as the Service Delivery Manager, you must be able to build relationships at all levels. You must also be diligent, organised and proactive with an analytical mindset.
