Electrical Supervisors
Field Based (Covering sites throughout Ireland)

As an Electrical Supervisor, you will be tasked with overseeing electrical work and projects at substations across Ireland.

Joining the Substation Business Unit, you will oversee new build and refurbishment projects involving various voltages from 10kV, 38kV, 110kV and 220kV.

Due to the nature of the role, successful applicants will need to be flexible regarding day-to-day requirements, working hours and travel. You will be required to undertake some overnight stays to complete projects.

So, is this the role for you? If so, you will need:

- To be a time served Electrician
- Experience in the management and delivery of HV projects
- Previous experience with Electricity Supply Board (ESB)
- The ability to read and/or work off schematic diagrams and have knowledge of control and protection systems
- Experience of the installation and termination of SWA, NYCY, Multicore and Communications cables
- Installation experience for substation plant and equipment i.e. transformer assembly, support structures and associated equipment (CTs, VTs Busbars Circuit Breakers and Disconnects)
- A working knowledge of AC/DC systems
- A high level of manual dexterity and technical ability with proven experience in panel wiring within the relevant environment
- A full clean driving licence and proof of eligibility to work in Ireland

Dedicated and meticulous, as an Electrical Supervisor, you’ll need to be influential with the ability to lead and direct others. Strong communication skills will be vital, as will a close attention to detail.
