The Company

Our client is an established not-for-profit that provides support, guidance and information to individuals who have debilitating headache disorders.

They are now looking for a part-time Communications and Information Officer to join them and support the success of their communications and social media initiatives, as well as their information services.

The Benefits

- Salary of €35,000 pro rata
- Travel expenses
- Annual leave
- Help to shape the public image of a successful charity
- Increase your experience in the charitable sector

This is a brilliant opportunity to help raise awareness of complex neurological conditions that affects approximately half a million people in Ireland alone.

This is an important role offering plenty of variety, from writing content and communicating with those our client supports, to promoting the charity publicly at events.

So, if you are looking to make a difference in a position that you can fit around your existing responsibilities, our client wants to hear from you.

The Role

As a Communications and Information Officer, you’ll support the development and implementation of our client’s communications and social media strategy, as well as their information services.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, you will:

- Collect, organise and manage information on migraine and headache disorders
- Write, edit and develop content for our client’s newsletter, website, social media platforms and publications
- Handle media enquiries and act as a spokesperson for the organisation
- Help to organise events and present at seminars to promote our client
- Support the success of our client’s helpline service, providing information and support to callers

Our client would like to hear from you if you’ve worked as a Content Executive, Communications Executive, PR Officer, Public Relations Executive, Marketing Communications Executive, Marketing Executive, or Advertising & Marketing Executive.

This is a part-time role, working 22.5 hours per week over three days.

The closing date for applications is the 13th January 2020.
