 Community Nurse – RGN / CNM
Community based in South Dublin or Kildare

What will I be doing?

As a Community Nurse, you’ll be providing the highest quality care services to clients.

Managing the day-to-day aspects of community nursing operations, you will take responsibility and be accountable for the care delivered, meeting day-to-day client needs and ensuring any issues are attended to promptly and effectively.

A major aspect of your role will be the management of care givers to ensure that the correct service levels are delivered to each client and meet their needs.

Other organisations may call this role Nurse, Registered Nurse, Nursing Manager, Nursing Team Leader, Care Team Lead, Lead Carer, Care in the Community Nurse, Care Unit Lead Nurse, or Community Staff Nurse.

Job Requirements
What do I need?

To be considered as a Community Nurse, you will need:

- A nursing qualification including NMBI registration
- Good commercial and business acumen
- An understanding of clinical systems implementation methodologies, process re-engineering, and change management
- Demonstrable leadership abilities to manage a client resource team; who in turn co-ordinate the carers
- An ECDL qualification or similar and a good level of IT literacy
- A full, valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle

The ideal candidate will also have a background in nursing, or other ancillary services or relevant work experience in-home care industry.
