Customer Service Manager – Engineering
Rathcoole, Co. Dublin

Our client is one of the world’s largest suppliers of Caterpillar construction, earthmoving, quarrying and mining equipment. They are now seeking a Customer Service Manager to join their team.

The Role

As the Customer Service Manager, you will be responsible for delivering an outstanding experience to customers by ensuring that resources meet their needs. You’ll also directly manage a team of up to seven Engineers.

Developing an understanding of customers’ requirements, you’ll undertake capacity and capability planning to ensure that their needs are met. You’ll control the end-to-end repair process from a customer service perspective and ensure that service processes and procedures are adhered to at all times.

Additionally, you’ll oversee the health and safety of employees and manage any performance issues within the team of Engineers.

Your other duties will include:

- Creating service quotes
- Keeping customers informed throughout the entire process
- Using data to drive continuous improvements in customer experience and performance

About You

To be considered as a Customer Service Manager, you will need:

- At least three years’ experience in a technical or mechanical engineering role
- Supervisory or team leadership experience
- Good knowledge of mobile and fixed equipment components and systems
- A good level of financial and/or commercial awareness
- A foundation level Engineering qualification
