The Company

Our client is a financial services provider that specialises in providing mortgages and investments in Wexford and Waterford. They are now looking for a Customer Service / Trainee Financial Advisor to join their friendly team.

Your Role

As a Customer Service / Trainee Financial Advisor, you will deliver an outstanding level of service to customers using our client’s day-to-day retail banking solutions.

Your day-to-day duties will involve:

- Responding to queries about financial products
- Processing customers’ cash and banking transactions
- Helping to resolve customers’ account issues
- Opening and amending customer accounts
- Supporting and referring customers to the Qualified Financial Advisors for more information
- Delivering work that helps to meet business performance and growth targets  

This role would be suitable for those who have held the role of, or would like to become a Customer Service Advisor, Trainee Financial Advisor, Customer Service Executive, Trainee Financial Services Advisor, Customer Care Executive, Customer Services Representative, or Finance Assistant.

Job Requirements
About You

To be considered as a Customer Service / Trainee Financial Advisor, you will need:

- Experience in financial services or a related customer sales and/or service facing role
- A degree in a business-related subject
- A friendly and helpful attitude
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- A highly organised approach
- An excellent eye for detail

A strong personal network and/or involvement in the local community, such as with local sports clubs or organisations, would be an advantage. A financial services APA designation or the QFA qualification would also be an advantage, however this is by no means essential.
