Our client is a leading HVAC/refrigeration and catering equipment contractor. They are now looking for a Refrigeration Engineer to join their team.

As a Refrigeration Engineer, you will take responsibility for a range of field service activities.
Specifically, your role will involve the installation, maintenance and repair of commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems at customers’ sites across Ireland.
Strengthening the existing field service team, you will undertake both service and maintenance activities for our client’s Installation and Project departments.
Other organisations may call this role Installation Technician, Refrigeration Engineer, Refrigeration Technician, HVAC Technician, HVAC Engineer, or Commercial Refrigeration Technician.

To be considered as a Refrigeration Engineer, you will need:
- At least five years’ electrical or mechanical experience in a similar field service technician position
- Experience in BMS and control systems
- Electronics awareness
- A Safe Pass card
- F-Gas 2078/2079 training and/or qualification
- Manual handling training
- A full, valid driving licence
A formal qualification in Refrigeration, gained either through an apprenticeship or an approved equivalent via City and Guilds or NVQ would be beneficial to your application. Apprentices who have completed Phase 4 will also be considered.
