 Field Service Technician
Co. Clare (with travel to customer sites)

Due to ongoing success, they’re now looking for a Field Service Technician to join them and deliver a high quality service throughout County Clare.

Our client wants their people to be the best in their field, which is why you’ll receive comprehensive training. You’ll spend one week in Holland learning the basics of our client’s turbines, followed by two weeks of special electrical training, to ensure you’re an expert in the company’s product range.

Once you’ve completed this training, you’ll also have the option to enhance your expertise even further and undertake specialist training focusing on generators and mechanics, to name a few.

As a Field Service Technician, you will service, maintain and repair our client’s wind turbines throughout the County Clare area.

Working with a variety of state-of-the-art electrical, electronic and mechanical equipment, you will:

- Find faults and report on the status of equipment
- Maintain stock levels
- Carry out all tasks in a safe manner
- Take part in the emergency call-out rota

- To be a qualified electrician or electrical technician, ideally with experience in the power generation, aerospace, industrial, agricultural or automotive industries
- Strong IT skills
- To be comfortable working at heights
- A full, clean driving licence and a Safe Pass Card

Positive and proactive, as a Field Service Technician, you’ll have a great eye for detail and excellent problem-solving skills. You’ll also be self-motivated, highly-organised and able to prioritise your workload.

Experience of working on wind turbines would be beneficial to your application.
