 Financial Accountant
Midleton, Co. Cork

Our client is a large manufacturing solutions provider primarily operating in the medical devices sector. They are now looking for a Financial Accountant to join their team in Midleton.

They will support you to enhance your existing experience, make a positive difference at their Cork site and contribute to the successful running of their business.

As a Financial Accountant, you will maintain and control the general ledger accounts, as well as business transactions for our client’s Cork site.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will:

- Assist with day-to-day, monthly, quarterly and year-end closing processes
- Manage the inter-company transaction processes
- Help to process and record accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Carry out bank reconciliations
- Perform general account analysis
- Assist with specific projects

To be considered, you will need:

- To be a qualified accountant with at least two years’ general accounting experience
- Knowledge of accounting and financial principles and practices
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP software

Proactive and diligent, as a Financial Accountant, you’ll have excellent written and verbal communication skills. You’ll also be highly-organised and able to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Ideally, you’ll have experience of working in a manufacturing environment, but this isn’t essential.
