The Role

As a Grid Operations Co-ordinator, you’ll provide technical support to Field Service Technicians regarding HV (high voltage) and MV (medium voltage) equipment within our client’s wind farms.

Providing primarily office-based support, you will:

- Act as a key point of contact for grid operations queries from both customers and suppliers
- Co-ordinate switching operations with colleagues, customers and utility companies
- Provide internal training on HV and MV components to Technicians
- Ensure compliance with current legislation and create documentation to support the company’s HQ in Germany

About You

To be considered as a Grid Operations Co-ordinator, you’ll need:

- Experience with high voltage work and/or work with turbines and substations
- An understanding and ability to interpret technical schematics
- An acute awareness of electrical safety
- Proficiency in MS Office packages
- An electrician trade or electrical engineering qualification
- To be comfortable working at heights
- A full, clean driving licence

A valid Safe Pass card would be advantageous. Experience of working with SCADA systems would also be beneficial, as would experience with SAP.
