Tinahely, Co. Wicklow

The Company

Our client is a leading manufacturer of medical devices components and pharmaceutical packaging. Operating exclusively in the plastic injection moulding field, they boast a global client base and in-depth expertise in pharmaceutical and medtech products.

They are now looking for a Human Resources Manager to join their team in Tinahely which offers a closer alternative to commuting from Carlow, Wicklow or South Dublin into the city centre.

Your Role

As the Human Resources Manager, you will provide an effective HR service to the business. You’ll be involved in a wide variety of HR activity from recruitment and training to resource planning.

This will include:

- Supporting and assisting with staff and resource planning and scheduling
- Developing an understanding of where the local workforce can be found
- Leading recruitment activities
- Supporting Managers with their HR needs
- Organising and scheduling training and monitoring its effectiveness
- Helping to develop and implement HR policies and practices
- Supporting GDPR compliance

About You

To be considered as the Human Resources Manager, you will need:

- Strong HR experience in a similar manufacturing environment
- Experience in all areas of HR compliance, including confidence in employment law and the day to day application of this
- A human resources qualification
