As a Payroll Assistant, you will support the Payroll Manager in co-ordinating the monthly payroll, ensuring the delivery of a quality service.
Grafton boasts 2,750 employees based across 100 sites and so working as part of a team you will be playing a key role in managing the monthly payroll for all employees.
You will work across the entire payroll lifecycle supporting workloads for the payroll function and responding to queries from managers and employees.
Your role will involve:
- Assisting with the setup up of new staff
- Ensuring all benefits, deductions and fees are implemented on time
- Ensuring payroll processes are applied to regional branches and departments
- Providing support to the HR team
Experience of using CorePay would be beneficial to your application, but this is by no means essential.

To be considered, you will need:
- At least two years’ experience in payroll
- Experience of using TMS software
- Thorough knowledge of employment laws relating to salary and leave
- Strong administrative skills
- An IPASS qualification (or to be working towards this)
