c€40,000 DOE Plus Company Vehicle

Our client was founded in 2005 and is now one of Ireland’s leading renewable energy companies. They are now looking for a Site Engineer to join their dedicated team.

As a Site Engineer, you will support a range of renewable energy system projects, focusing on electrical installations.

Taking a hands-on approach, you’ll ensure the successful installation of electrical systems, from initial design through to commissioning and post-installation support.

You’ll be involved in specifying equipment, producing accurate documentation, scheduling works programmes and providing technical support to customers.

Spending some of your time working at project sites, you will:

- Manage subcontractors
- Share your knowledge with other team members
- Ensure that all safety procedures are followed
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends
- Develop your technical skills and knowledge

Knowledge of renewable energy systems, such as Solar PV, Wind Turbines or Biomass Boilers would be an advantage.

Job Requirements
Interested? To be considered, you will need:

- At least five years’ experience in electrical services
- To be a qualified electrician with industrial experience
- Experience of site supervision on projects to value of €1 million
- A track record of managing people on site
- A full, clean driving licence
- A third level engineering qualification or senior trades qualification in an electrical discipline

Proactive and organised, as a Site Engineer, you’ll be a clear communicator who can effectively motivate others. You’ll also have a pragmatic approach to problem-solving and great prioritisation skills.
