Technical Support 2nd Level - Microsoft Partner
 

This is a fantastic opportunity for you if you are a 2nd Level Technical Support Engineer with strong Microsoft skills who wants to bring your skills and experience to the next level. It is an opportunity which will give you training, experience, and allow you to follow the path to Field Service Engineer work where you will take part in installations and roll outs.

The client is based in North Dublin and is a small, growing Microsoft Partner IT services company, which offers an excellent happy work environment. The small team works very well together, and has a wonderful atmosphere, therefore the client wants a good Tech Support Engineer who has a great attitude.

As a Technical Support Engineer, you will need to have at least 3+ years current experience in 2nd level technical support, helpdesk and remote support work within a Microsoft environment. You must have excellent customer and service skills, a good personality, and be an excellent communicator. Your computer and networking skills must be strong enough so that you can give mentoring to the Level 1 Helpdesk engineers.

You must have a full Irish driving license, as occasionally you will be required to drive to customer sites for installations. (Or be very close to getting you full driving license.)

It is a strong bonus if you have a M.C.S.A. qualification.

Key Skills:

  • Current 2nd Level technical support experience.
  • IT skills Microsoft related e.g Office 365, Windows, Azure etc.
  • Knowledge of networking.
  • Network Administration, TCP/IP
  • Excellent people, communication, customer service skills.
  • Full Irish driving license
  • Based in Ireland right now, and legal to work here.
  • Preferred if you are based close to North Dublin.

If you have experience or knowledge of the following technologies such as VMware, Microsoft Suite, 365, Azure, Active Directory, DNS - Domain Management, Firewalls, Sonic Wall, Networking. You will receive training with these technologies and more.

This is an excellent opportunity as you will get more exposure to field engineer work and larger networks through installations that you will work on.

Salary to €30,000+ with training + benefits.
