Make a Difference in Healthcare Finance: Dublin-Based Accounts Payable Assistant (Temporary)

What You’ll Do:

  • Using your SAP skills: Navigate SAP S4Hana, processing invoices, and ensuring smooth data flow within the Accounts Payable section.
  • Maintain impeccable records: Organise data in Excel spreadsheets, ensuring clear tracking and accuracy.
  • Be a purchasing pro: Process requisitions for diverse departments, guaranteeing seamless ordering and budget adherence.
  • Ensure compliance: Scrutinize paperwork, verifying completeness and preventing financial discrepancies.
  • Master supplier relations: Actively manage supplier accounts, address queries, and reconcile statements with precision.
  • Become a reporting rockstar: Generate monthly reports that meet deadlines and deliver valuable insights.
  • Stay on top of your inbox: Monitor emails for invoices and inquiries, ensuring prompt action and resolution.
  • Support where needed: Lend a helping hand to the Catering Department with cash management and lodgements.
  • Embrace continuous learning: Familiarise yourself with existing and future departmental systems, keeping your knowledge base up-to-date.
  • Contract and travel expert: Manage contract databases, ensuring timely renewals, and maintain accurate travel & subsistence records.
  • Keep petty cash flowing: Handle petty cash maintenance and reconciliation, including regular audits.
  • Go the extra mile: Be prepared to undertake additional tasks within the Finance Department, contributing your skills wherever needed.

Here’s what awaits you:

  • Salary: €32,297 pro rata (New joiners start on point 1 of the grade IV salary scale)
  • Schedule: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday-Friday, with an hour lunch break (35 hours per week)
  • Location: Dublin 6
  • Benefits: 28 days annual leave and a supportive, collaborative work environment

  • Accounting professionals with a minimum of 2 years’ Irish or EU Accounts experience.
  • A sharp eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Adaptability and a willingness to learn new systems and processes.
