Test Automation Engineer
Dublin 2, Co. Dublin

Operating globally, our client is an established technology firm that provides bespoke mobile staff management software. Used by some of the world’s leading engineering firms, our client’s data capture solution transforms the efficiency of customers’ field operations.

Following significant growth, they are now looking for a Test Automation Engineer to join their team in Dublin.

You’ll be working from a great location in the heart of Dublin, close to the Millennium Bridge just a stone’s throw from the river, and utilising some great tech on a day-to-day basis (MacBooks are our client’s standard). As a Test Automation Engineer, you’ll be making sure that our client’s web and mobile products continue to work flawlessly.

As part of a team within our client’s fast-paced environment, you will maintain product consistency, developing automated testing methods, tools and infrastructure for both products and services.

Your role will also involve:

- Updating and developing CI pipelines and architecture
- Selecting test automation tools and software
- Advising and educating the Development Team on test automation best practice
- Overseeing the Development Team’s testing strategies
- Identifying and solving technical problems

- At least two years’ experience in software testing
- Experience with tools such as Selenium Webdriver and Puppeteer
- Mobile test automation experience
- Experience with Jenkins and/or Travis CI or other CI tools
- A proven track record of using Postman, Jasmine and/or Siesta or other testing suites
- An understanding of Agile methodologies and concepts
- An understanding of test automation architecture and frameworks
- Diverse industry experience

Focusing on high-level problem-solving, as a Test Automation Engineer, you’ll also need strong communication skills, a team player mentality and the ability to thrive within a fast-paced environment.
