Smartedge's client is looking for Test manager(Life Sciences-Clinical Trials)_ Contract_Remote,Europe”

Role: Test manager(Life Sciences-Clinical Trials)
Location: Full Remote. (if required less than 10% they need to travel and travel expenses will be barred by the client ).

Duration: 6 Months (will get extended for at least 1 year+)

Must have-
1. Specialization in Infrastructure and Software Integration Testing, GxP, and Validation
2. Expertise in Test Management (PM experience would be preferred)
3. Experience in testing on cloud platforms
4. Experience in Integration Testing
5. Experience working in Life sciences domain (Clinical Trials) preferred. but (Not Healthcare domain)

The Senior Technology Leadership Professional (IT Quality Assurance, IT QA) works with Systems Engineering, Testing, and Business leaders. This role develops and drives IT Quality Assurance strategies that support and enable teams to build quality into IT products and services. In addition, the Senior Technology Leadership Professional supports product evaluation and qualification on leading edge technology components. Interacts with Business Domains and IT Systems Engineering to analyze and provide leadership in resolving customer product related problems or issues.

Must have Infrastructure Testing experience

The Senior Technology Leadership Professional is responsible for creating and driving IT Quality strategies and initiatives that impact multiple applications within one or more portfolios. Measures, analyzes, and evaluates data and information that identifies and influences and evangelizes IT QA best practices and processes. Guides teams to utilize tools and processes to build quality systems at a rapid pace. Improves technical competencies within IT QA and Testing. Provides technical leadership and expertise within Quality Assurance and testing. Evaluates root cause of issues and recommends long term action. Establishes relationships that balance short-term gains with long-term considerations. Initiates repeatable processes that streamline quality practices enhancing productivity. Serves as a change agent that cultivates product delivery, promotion of quality, and endorsing DevOps practices. Influences quality strategy through statistical process control methods and metrics. Promotes quality strategies and approaches to improve quality at speed. Educates and trains people at all levels on how to apply basic tools and methodologies to achieve improvement objectives. Collaborates with others to create plans that improve quality maturity. Determine, measure, and monitor key indicators to demonstrate performance. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues with a customer focus. Builds relationships and maintains a high degree of engagement. Work is performed without direction.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • 7+ years of experience in the IT Quality Assurance industry with strong expertise in quality best practices and defining strategies that drive quality and testing.
  • 5+ years of experience leading Systems Testing, Integration Testing, Acceptance Testing, and Regression Testing.
  • Minimum one year experience testing or developing test strategies for applications in cloud or cloud migration.
  • Minimum one year experience with leading or testing functional, integration, security, test automation, and performance testing cloud applications.
  • Strong experience building IT Quality strategies that address process improvements leading to efficiencies and effectiveness.
  • Minimum two years of experience conducting data analysis that identifies trends and gaps that drive quality improvements.
  • Strong skills in building and maintaining relationships across IT and non IT teams.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across varying levels of personnel.
  • Strong PowerPoint presentation and MS Excel skills.

Experience with developing and influencing Quality Assurance strategies, metrics, and statistical process improvement.
