The Company

Our client is a financial services provider that specialises in providing mortgages and investments in Wexford and Waterford. They are now looking for a Trainee Financial Adviser to join their friendly team.

Your Role

As a Trainee Financial Adviser, you will deliver an outstanding level of service to customers using our client’s day-to-day retail banking solutions.


Your day-to-day duties will involve:

- Responding to queries about financial products
- Processing customers’ cash and banking transactions
- Helping to resolve customers’ account issues
- Assisting Mortgage Advisers with mortgage application preparation and assessment
- Referring customers to the Qualified Financial Advisors for more information
- Delivering work that helps to meet business performance and growth targets

About You

To be considered as a Trainee Financial Adviser, you will need:

- Experience in a sales and/or customer service environment
- A good level of IT literacy
- A degree (or equivalent) in a business-related subject
- A friendly and helpful attitude
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- A highly organised approach
- An excellent eye for detail

You will also be required to meet Central Bank’s Minimum Competency requirements for employment, which involves gaining your QFA exams within two years of joining the company. These exams will be paid for by our client.

A full driving licence would be beneficial to your application.

This role would be suitable for those who have held the role of, or would like to become a Customer Service Advisor, Trainee Financial Advisor, Mortgage Advisor, Trainee Mortgage Advisor, Customer Service Executive, Trainee Financial Services Advisor, Customer Care Executive, Customer Services Representative, or Finance Assistant.
