O Learys Centra operates a busy convenience retail site in the heart of Blarney. We are seeking a motivated Buyer to join our team and support the efficient purchasing and supply of products across the store.
Main Responsibilities
Source and purchase food products, beverages, packaging and store supplies in line with Centra operational requirements.
Identify suitable purchasing opportunities from suppliers and distributors.
Negotiate prices, terms and delivery schedules to ensure cost-effective purchasing.
Monitor stock requirements and support the timely availability of products across the store.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, supplier details and stock information.
Assess product suitability, quality and commercial value before purchase.
Support the overall procurement and supply chain process.
Work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment.
