An exciting opportunity is available for a Consultant Gastroenterologist to join a leading private healthcare provider in Dubai. This role is suited to a highly skilled physician with strong experience in the diagnosis and management of gastrointestinal disorders, with a particular focus on general endoscopy and colonoscopy procedures.
The successful candidate will become part of an established multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality patient care within a modern, patient-centred healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive gastroenterology consultations and treatment plans.
Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including upper GI endoscopy and colonoscopy.
Assess, diagnose, and manage a broad range of gastrointestinal conditions.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and medical records.
Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives and clinical governance activities.
Deliver exceptional patient care in line with international best practice standards.
Requirements:
Tier 1 training and qualifications in Gastroenterology.
Board Certification, CCT, CCST, American Board Certification, CSCST, FRACP, or equivalent specialist qualification recognised for Consultant registration.
3+ years of experience as a Consultant Gastroenterologist.
Strong expertise in general endoscopy and colonoscopy procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated commitment to delivering patient-centred care.
Eligibility to obtain Consultant Gastroenterologist licensure in Dubai. Existing DHA eligibility or licensing is advantageous but not essential; the hospital will apply for your license once you accept the job offer.
Package and Benefits:
