Erect,
modify and dismantle scaffolding structures in accordance with approved plans,
specifications and site requirements.

Assemble
scaffold frames, platforms, guardrails, toe boards, braces and access ladders
as required.

Inspect
scaffolding components before use to identify damaged, defective or unsuitable
materials.
·
Ensure
scaffolding structures are stable, properly secured and suitable for their
intended use.
·
Install
working platforms and access arrangements to provide safe access for
construction workers.
·
Follow
instructions from site supervisors and coordinate scaffolding activities with
other construction trades.
·
Load,
unload, transport and organise scaffolding materials and equipment safely.
·
Carry
out routine visual checks and report defects, damage or unsafe conditions to
the appropriate supervisor.
·
Comply
with Irish health and safety legislation, site-specific safety procedures and
working-at-height requirements.
·
Maintain
a clean and organised work area and use personal protective equipment
correctly.
