The Opportunity
We are offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced Book-keeper to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, professional environment and takes pride in delivering work to a high standard. You will work closely with our experienced finance team in a supportive and collaborative setting, contributing to the smooth and accurate running of our financial operations.
What You Will Deliver
• Generate and post client sales invoices, ensuring accurate reconciliation of same.
• Process creditor invoices and maintain up-to-date reconciliations.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns for Republic Of Ireland and Northern Ireland.
• Manage RCT / CIS transactions and statutory returns.
• Maintain and document accurate financial records in line with internal controls.
• Provide general financial and administrative support to the wider office team.
What You Bring
• A minimum of 2+ years’ experience in a Bookkeeping or similar finance role.
• A strong eye for detail and a commitment to high levels of accuracy.
• Working knowledge of accounting software and financial systems.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills for data handling and reporting.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• An accountancy-related qualification, experience within the construction sector, and cross-border knowledge of VAT and RCT / CIS is highly desirable.
