Marius Garage is a well-established independent garage based in Limerick, specialising in the servicing, diagnosis and repair of all makes and models of passenger and light commercial vehicles. We are seeking one experienced Car Mechanic to join our team on a permanent full-time basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out full vehicle servicing, diagnostics and mechanical repairs to a high standard.
- Diagnose and repair engine, braking, suspension, clutch, exhaust and electrical faults.
- Perform pre-NCT inspections and prepare vehicles for testing.
- Replace and repair components including timing belts, filters, batteries, brakes and suspension parts.
- Use diagnostic equipment and technical information to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop environment at all times.
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding required work and estimated costs.
- Comply with all Health & Safety regulations and industry best practice.
Desirable:
- Relevant qualifications (QQI Level 6 in Motor Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent).
- Experience with modern diagnostic tools and software.
- Knowledge of air-conditioning servicing and recharge.
