Job Description
 
Lishh Catering Limited is a well-established catering company based in Limerick, providing fresh, high-quality food and professional catering services for cafés, events, and private functions. We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Chef de Partie to join our dynamic kitchen team.
 
Main Responsibilities
 
Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes according to the restaurant's menu and standards. Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to recipes. Maintain hygiene, health, and safety standards in the kitchen, including regular cleaning and equipment checks. Assist in menu planning and development, contributing ideas based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Monitor stock levels, assist in ordering supplies, and ensure minimal waste in food preparation. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, ensuring consistent skill development and performance.

Job Requirements
Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a professional kitchen environment.
Proven ability to manage a section of the kitchen and work effectively under pressure.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen operations.
Excellent culinary skills with a creative approach to dish presentation.
Ability to lead and motivate a team, with good communication and organisational skills.
Must be available to work on-site in Limerick for 39 hours per week.
