ACE Money Transfer is a global remittance service provider specialising in secure and efficient international money transfers. The company serves customers across multiple international markets, with a strong focus on customer service, regulatory compliance, transaction security and responsible financial operations.

Role Overview

ACE Money Transfer is seeking a Client Onboarding & Transaction Monitoring Associate to join its Operations team in Dublin.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the customer onboarding, KYC/AML verification and transaction monitoring processes associated with ACE's international money transfer services.

The successful candidate will assess cases against established internal procedures, obtain additional information where required and escalate higher-risk or potentially suspicious cases to the appropriate senior or Compliance team.

The role requires strong attention to detail, sound judgement, confidentiality and the ability to work accurately with sensitive customer and financial information.

Client Onboarding & KYC
Review new customer applications and documentation; conduct identity verification per KYC procedures; assess profiles for incomplete, inconsistent, or higher-risk information; perform due diligence checks via internal systems; confirm onboarding requirements are met before progressing applications; escalate unusual profiles per procedure; maintain accurate onboarding records; respond to related queries.

AML & Transaction Monitoring
Monitor transactions and review system-generated alerts; analyse activity for unusual patterns, structuring, or rapid fund movement; conduct initial reviews of flagged transactions per AML procedures; request additional customer documentation as needed; escalate potentially suspicious activity to Compliance; document review outcomes and maintain case files; apply AML/KYC procedures consistently.

Transaction Review & Operational Processing
Review international money transfer transactions; verify required information is available pre-processing; keep transaction cases accurately updated in ACE systems; escalate transactions outside standard procedure for specialist review.

Compliance & Risk Support
Apply AML, KYC, CDD, and transaction-monitoring policies; stay current on relevant regulatory and internal requirements; support Compliance/Operations with accurate customer and transaction information; report recurring risk or operational issues; assist implementing procedural updates; maintain strict confidentiality of customer and financial data.

Reporting & Case Management
Maintain accurate records across onboarding, verification, and transaction-monitoring cases; update case-management systems with outcomes; prepare routine reports on volumes, reviews, alerts, and case outcomes; monitor and follow up on outstanding cases; ensure all review actions are properly documented.
