Athenry Truck and Refrigeration Centre, is looking for 2 x Commercial Vehicle Parts Manager to join their team in Co. Galway, H65 NX33. This is a full time, permanent position. Salary: €46,000 - €54,000 per annum. Hours per week: 40 hours per week
Key Responsibilities: Manage the entire Parts Department and be accountable for its overall performance, support workshop operations by ensuring the timely availability of parts and consumables, procure parts, consumables, and workshop requirements while negotiating with suppliers to secure the best value, develop and maintain strong supplier relationships and procurement processes, manage departmental stock holdings, inventory control, and inventory valuation, oversee warranty administration, claims processing, and aftersales support activities, coordinate closely with technicians, service advisors, and workshop personnel to meet operational requirements, ensure the efficient operation of the aftersales department through effective planning and resource management, prepare and manage departmental budgets, monitor costs, and implement cost-control measures, produce KPI reports and drive continuous improvement initiatives across parts operations.
Requirements: Proven experience in a commercial vehicle, truck, trailer, or automotive parts management role, Strong knowledge of inventory control, procurement, and supplier management, Experience with warranty processes, aftersales operations, and workshop support, Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills, Commercial awareness with experience in budgeting, reporting, and performance management.
