Salary: Minimum €39,000 per annum
Hours: 39 hours per week
We are currently seeking an experienced Commis Chef to join our team at Kerb. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ proven experience as a Commis Chef. This is an exciting opportunity for an accomplished, versatile, and highly skilled chef to contribute to the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food at the highest level of excellence, within a clean, organised, safe, and pleasant environment.
Key Duties:

Preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes within the speciality section

Assisting the Chef de Partie, Sous Chef, and Head Chef in creating menu items, developing recipes, and designing new dishes

Preparing basic ingredients, including meat and fish

Following and supporting health and safety procedures

Maintaining high standards of food-hygiene practices

Assisting in training junior kitchen staff when required

Supporting portion control and helping to reduce waste

Maintaining cleanliness and assisting in upholding kitchen and food-safety standards
