We are currently recruiting for two experienced Commis Chefs (39 hrs p/w) with 2+ years’ experience (salary of €36,620 per annum) for BREAD NATION LIMITED – Bread 41, located at 41 Pearse Street, Dublin 2, D02 H308, Ireland.
The successful candidates must have a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience as a Commis Chef or in a similar professional kitchen environment.
We offer an exciting opportunity for skilled and motivated Commis Chefs to join Bread Nation Limited (Bread 41), assisting in the preparation, production, cooking, and presentation of high-quality bakery and kitchen products to the highest standards of consistency, quality, and presentation.
The role requires maintaining a clean, organised, safe, and hygienic work environment at all times, in full compliance with HACCP, food safety, and health & safety regulations, while supporting the smooth and efficient operation of the kitchen and bakery sections.
The Commis Chef will assist in the preparation and production of food within the assigned section, ensuring all items meet high standards of quality, consistency, presentation, and food safety. The role includes supporting senior chefs, following instructions accurately, and contributing to the efficient running of the kitchen.
Responsibilities also include basic stock handling, waste reduction through proper storage and rotation, and reporting any shortages, defects, or quality issues to senior staff. The Commis Chef will work closely with the kitchen team, communicate effectively, and support service requirements as needed.

This is a full-time position based on a 39-hour working week.
