Job Description
Financial and Accounting Technician required to work with Joe Duffy (Motors) Ltd located at North Road, Exit 5, M50 Roundabout, Dublin 11, Ireland, D11 XH5N. The applicant must have at least 2 years' experience in a similar role. The role involves maintaining profit and loss accounts, budgets, cash flow forecasts and other accounting records relevant to the motor retail industry, across the group's dealerships. The technician will be responsible for producing, collating and reporting financial information for management, preparing trial balances and supporting the annual audit process, and maintaining pension and statutory compliance records. They will also manage accounts payable and credit control, liaising with customers and suppliers to ensure payments are made on time and credit limits are not exceeded, ensure invoices and payments are accurate and processed promptly, oversee payroll-related reconciliations, and monitor accounting systems to ensure efficient management of accounts, providing information on accounting practices to auditors.
