Job Description:
Our company, Diamond Furniture, is seeking an experienced Furniture Technician to support our high-end furniture showrooms in Dublin. The role focuses on assembly, repair, restoration, quality checks, and installation of premium furniture for retail display and customer deliveries.
Main Duties and Responsibilities: Assemble and disassemble furniture pieces from flat-pack or pre-made components for showroom display and customer orders. Perform repairs, adjustments, and minor restorations on stock items (e.g., fixing hardware, refinishing surfaces, tightening fittings). Inspect furniture for quality control, damage, and compliance with standards before display or delivery. Assist with custom orders, including measurements, fittings, and basic modifications for client needs. Support delivery/installation teams for in-home setups when required. Maintain workshop/tools area in showroom and ensure safety standards. Working hours: 39 per week.
