Job Description
Harbour Lights Nursing Home is a busy 45 bed Nursing Home and they are looking for full time Healthcare Assistants to join their team in Bruckless, County Donegal. Providing assistance to the nursing staff as well as personal and physical care and assistance with all aspects of daily living for our residents as required. Working week is 39 hours per week @ €32691/year.

Working Hours - 39 hours/week
Salary - €32691/year.

Responsibilities:
  • Supporting the nursing staff in providing care to the residents.
  • Ensuring residents hygiene/personal care needs are maintained to the highest standards while maintaining the resident’s dignity at all times.
  • Assisting residents with eating and drinking.
  • Assisting residents with mobilising and using correct aids.
  • Escorting or/and transfer of residents as directed.
  • Adhere to infection control and prevention policy.
  • Any other duties deemed necessary by the clinical team and management.
Job Requirements
1. Full QQI Level 5 in Healthcare or a Nursing Degree/Diploma.
2. Minimum 6 months experience in a similar role required.
3. Enthusiastic, caring, and reliable manner. Good communication skills.
