Job Description
Thomond Lodge Nursing Home is a 48 bedded purpose built facility which will offer respite, convalescence and long stay facilities in a relaxed and intimate environment. All of the accommodations at Thomond Lodge Nursing Home, is single occupancy, all bedrooms have ensuite facility and are fully furnished to a high standard. The communal areas at Thomond Lodge Nursing Home are designed to provide residents with both comfort and space for privacy.

Working Hours - 39 hours/week
Salary - €32691/year.

Responsibilities:
  • Supporting the nursing staff in providing care to the residents.
  • Ensuring residents hygiene/personal care needs are maintained to the highest standards while maintaining the resident’s dignity at all times.
  • Assisting residents with eating and drinking.
  • Assisting residents with mobilising and using correct aids.
  • Escorting or/and transfer of residents as directed.
  • Adhere to infection control and prevention policy.
  • Any other duties deemed necessary by the clinical team and management.
Job Requirements
1. Full QQI Level 5 in Healthcare or a Nursing Degree/Diploma.
2. Minimum 6 months experience in a similar role required.
3. Enthusiastic, caring, and reliable manner. Good communication skills.
