Job Description
Fernvalley Transport Ltd are seeking an experienced and reliable Truck Driver with proven experience operating tipping trailers and vacuum tankers. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe transportation of materials, waste products, and liquids while ensuring compliance with all road transport, health and safety, and environmental regulations. Key requirements are: Operate HGV vehicles fitted with tipping trailers and vacuum tanks safely and efficiently. Transport aggregates, soil, construction materials, sludge, wastewater, and other designated materials to and from customer sites. Carry out loading, unloading, tipping, and vacuum pumping operations in accordance with company procedures. Complete daily vehicle inspections and report any defects or maintenance requirements. Ensure vehicles are kept clean, roadworthy, and compliant with legal requirements. Maintain accurate delivery, collection, and waste transfer documentation. Follow all health, safety, environmental, and traffic regulations. Communicate effectively with site managers, dispatch personnel, and customers. Adhere to route schedules and delivery deadlines while maintaining a professional attitude. Assist with general operational duties as required.

Annual Wage based on a 39-hour work week offered is €35k-€38k depending on experience.
Job Requirements
Essential requirements are a valid HGV CE driving licence.
Proven experience operating tipping trailers.
Proven experience operating vacuum tankers or vacuum tank equipment.
Strong knowledge of transport regulations and vehicle safety requirements.
Good communication & organisation skills.
Minimum 5 year working experience.
