Job Description
John Horan Transport are currently seeking reliable and experienced HGV Truck Drivers to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods, ensuring all deliveries are completed efficiently and in full compliance with road transport legislation.
Key Responsibilities
Operate HGV vehicles safely and professionally to deliver goods to designated locations Carry out daily vehicle checks, including tyres, brakes, lights, oil, water and fuel levels Load and unload goods where required, ensuring loads are secure and evenly distributed Plan routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules Complete delivery paperwork and maintain accurate records of driving hours and mileage Comply with EU Drivers’ Hours, Tachograph regulations and Road Traffic legislation Report defects, incidents or delays promptly to management Maintain a clean and presentable cab at all times

Job Requirements
Full HGV Licence (Category C or CE)
Good knowledge of transport regulations

Good communication and customer service skills
