Job Description

Our client is seeking a skilled Industrial Electrical Designer to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing electrical systems and components for industrial machinery and equipment. The role involves working closely with engineering teams to ensure electrical designs meet project requirements and comply with safety standards. The Industrial Electrical Designer will also participate in project planning, create electrical schematics, select components, and oversee installation and testing phases.

Responsibilities :

  • Design and develop electrical systems for industrial machinery and equipment,
    including integration with pneumatic components and circuits.
  • Create electrical and pneumatic schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings
    using EPLAN software.
  • Select appropriate components and materials based on project requirements and
  • Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure designs meet technical and
    functional requirements.
  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and
  • Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and testing phases.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues and recommend solutions to improve system
  • Maintain documentation, including drawings, manuals, and technical specifications.
    Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field.
  • Proven experience as an Industrial Electrical Designer or similar role in industrial
    automation, including exposure to pneumatic systems.
  • Proficiency in CAD software for electrical design (AutoCAD, EPLAN, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and industrial automation
  • Familiarity with electrical safety standards (e.g., CE, EN, NEC, IEC).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • EAective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines eAectively.
Job Requirements
Preferred Qualifications :

Professional certification (e.g., Certified Electrical Designer).
Experience with PLC programming and control systems.
Knowledge of motor controls, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and industrial
communication protocols (e.g., Profibus, Ethernet/IP)
