MIDWESTERN FUELS LIMITED requires an Inventory & Operations manager
Annual Salary- 34000 Euros, Working Hrs/Week- 39, Location: Dublin
Job Description:
Oversee stock levels across multiple warehouses, maintain optimal inventory turnover, and enforce controls to prevent stockouts, overstocking, and pilferage.
Conduct scheduled and ad-hoc inventory audits, verify stock accuracy, and resolve variances through structured reconciliation processes.
Collaborate with sales, supply chain, and production teams to forecast demand accurately and align procurement cycles with market requirements.
Analyse historical sales trends, seasonality patterns, and promotional activities to refine forecasting accuracy and minimise excess or obsolete stock.
Manage daily warehouse operations, optimise storage layouts, improve material flow, and ensure seamless dispatch and receiving activities.
Job Requirements
Deep understanding of supply chain processes, warehouse operations, and end-to-end inventory flow.
Knowledge of FMCG regulations, quality standards, hygiene compliance, and safety procedures.
Understanding of import/export regulations, delivery scheduling, stock ageing, and shelf-life management.
Familiarity with KPI measurement, cost-efficiency analytics, ABC analysis, and demand-supply balancing.
Awareness of logistics operations, route planning, fleet coordination, and third-party logistics management.
Strong knowledge of continuous improvement frameworks, lean tools, and waste-reduction techniques.
