Job Description

Green Solutions Cork Landscaping & Garden Maintenance Limited provides professional landscaping, garden maintenance, and grounds care services across Cork, specialising in sustainable outdoor solutions including equipment and tool maintenance for efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the team maintaining landscaping equipment and tools, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient performance.
  • Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance on garden machinery, power tools, mowers, trimmers, and related equipment.
  • Diagnose issues, coordinate repairs, and manage inventory of parts and tools.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety (HSA) regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
  • Train and support junior maintenance staff.

Job Requirements
Essential Requirements:

Minimum 3 years’ experience in maintenance of landscaping/garden equipment, tools, or similar machinery.
At least 1 year in a supervisory or team lead role in a maintenance/technical setting.
Relevant technical qualification (e.g., FETAC Level 6 or equivalent in Mechanical Maintenance, Horticultural Machinery, or related field).
Good knowledge of mechanical maintenance, basic electrical/hydraulics for garden tools, and safe equipment handling.
Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
Working hours: 39 hours per week

Desirable:

Experience in landscaping, gardening, or green sector maintenance.
Certifications such as Safe Pass, Manual Handling, or familiarity with garden machinery systems.
