Maintenance Supervisor

Employer: Peak Windows & Doors
Location: Unit 1B, Swords Business Park, Swords Co. Dublin, Eircode: K67 AP80
Salary: €36,605 per annum
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: 39 hours per week

Peak Windows & Doors, a leading manufacturer and installer of high-quality windows and doors in Ireland, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance, repair, and safety of machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the maintenance and repair of CNC machinery, precision saws, welding equipment, presses, and electrical systems used in window and door manufacturing.
  • Ensure all equipment meets required safety standards, including Safe Pass and relevant Irish health & safety regulations (e.g., ESB standards).
  • Conduct regular inspections and coordinate emergency repairs to minimise downtime.
  • Train and oversee staff in safe equipment handling and maintenance practices.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules and safety compliance.

Job Requirements
Essential Skills and Qualifications:

More than 2 years of experience in machinery maintenance, preferably in manufacturing, construction, or the windows and doors industry.
Irish-recognised certifications: Safe Pass, Manual Handling, and ESB Induction (or equivalent).
Strong knowledge of Irish health and safety regulations.
Proven ability to lead a small team and effectively manage maintenance operations in a fast-paced production or site environment.
Desirable Skills:

Previous experience as a supervisor or team leader in a manufacturing or technical trade environment.
Full clean driving licence (preferably Category B, C1 or C for van and light truck use).
Experience working with CNC machines, saws, welding equipment, or fabrication machinery used in the windows and doors industry.
Additional health & safety qualifications (e.g., First Aid, IOSH, or equivalent).
