This is a unique year-round, permanent role with an exceptional work-life balance, combining full-throttle action during our busy summer season with flexible, relaxed off-season months.

What You’ll Do
As Operations Manager, you’ll be at the heart of Fort Lucan’s Management Team — ensuring every child, parent, and team member enjoys a safe, exciting, and memorable experience.
Your role will span across all areas of park management, including:
π§π€π§ HR & Team Management
Recruit, train, and motivate our fantastic seasonal staff while ensuring compliance with garda vetting, young persons’ regulations, and best HR practices.
π Operations & Customer Experience
Oversee the day-to-day running of the park — from cash control and stock management to ensuring every guest leaves with a smile.
π¬ Sales & Marketing
Help to Drive online and group bookings, manage school tours, and help craft creative marketing campaigns that bring the magic of Fort Lucan to life!
☕ Café & Compliance
Maintain high standards of food safety (HACCP), stock ordering, and supplier relationships.
πΆ Finance & Administration
Handle payroll and assist with supplier payments, and support financial reporting, ensuring smooth operations behind the scenes.
π οΈ Health, Safety & First Aid
Champion safety and child protection, and serve as the go-to person for first aid and incident management (training provided).
