Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Plasterer and Building Maintenance Technician to carry out a wide range of construction and property maintenance duties. The role involves specialist plastering and damp proofing works, alongside general building maintenance across residential and commercial properties. The successful candidate will be a multi-skilled tradesperson with experience in several areas of the construction sector.

Key Responsibilities Carry out internal and external plastering, including skimming, rendering, and patch repairs Perform damp proofing works, including diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of damp-related issues Undertake general building maintenance and repair work across properties Complete joinery and carpentry tasks, including installation and repairs Carry out basic plumbing works, including pipe repairs and water system maintenance Assist with groundworks and site preparation as required Perform brickwork and blockwork repairs and construction Carry out roofing maintenance and repairs, including rainwater goods (gutters, downpipes) Ensure all work is completed to a high standard of workmanship and safety compliance Diagnose faults and provide practical solutions for building defects Maintain tools, materials, and a clean working environment. 
At least 50%+ of duties relate to plastering/damp proofing.

Remuneration: €46,000 - €49,000 annually
Hours: 39 hours per week
Hourly Rate: €23.00 per hour
 
Job Requirements
Proven experience as a plasterer or multi-skilled construction tradesperson
Strong knowledge of damp proofing techniques and materials
Experience in general building maintenance, including joinery, plumbing, and brickwork
Ability to work independently and manage tasks across multiple trades
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Understanding of health and safety regulations in construction.
