Working Hours:Monday to Thursday: 8:00–16:45, including a 45-minute unpaid break; Friday: 8:00–15:45, including a 45-minute unpaid break
Key Duties and Responsibilities
•Set up and operate commercial digital printing machinery to produce racing, sporting and event display materials.
•Prepare and configure printing equipment for production runs, including selecting suitable media, loading inks and setting appropriate machine parameters.
•Produce test prints and inspect output for colour consistency, alignment, registration, image quality and other printing defects.
•Adjust machine settings as required to maintain consistent print quality throughout production.
•Monitor printing runs, including media feeding, ink application, machine performance and finished output.
•Identify and correct printing defects and reprint materials where necessary to meet production specifications and quality standards.
•Maintain accurate production records, including quantities produced and relevant machine information.
•Carry out routine cleaning, maintenance and replacement of standard consumables on printing equipment in accordance with manufacturer instructions.
•Monitor the condition of printing equipment and identify and report technical faults or operational problems.
•Handle printing materials, inks and consumables safely and maintain the printing equipment and production area in a clean and safe condition.
•Follow machinery operating procedures, manufacturer instructions and workplace health and safety requirements.
•Complete production runs according to scheduled deadlines while maintaining the required quality standards.
Required Skills and Experience
•Previous experience operating commercial digital printing equipment.
•Practical knowledge of digital printing processes and production procedures.
•Ability to configure and adjust printing machinery to achieve required print quality.
•Ability to identify and resolve common printing defects and operational issues.
•Knowledge of colour consistency and print quality control.
•Ability to work accurately to production specifications and deadlines.
•Ability to perform routine cleaning and maintenance of printing equipment.
•Good attention to detail and commitment to maintaining production quality.
•Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.
•Understanding of health and safety requirements
