Job Description
Athenry Truck & Refrigeration Centre is seeking a Procurement Consultant to manage purchasing, supplier relationships and inventory requirements across the business to join their team in Co. Galway, H65 NX33. This is a full time permanent position. €46,000 - €54,000 per annum (dependent on experience) 40 hours per week Key Duties: Source and procure parts, equipment and services. Negotiate pricing, contracts and supplier agreements. Manage supplier performance, procurement costs and inventory levels. Monitor purchasing requirements and support stock forecasting. Maintain procurement records, reports and purchasing systems. Requirements: Minimum 3 years' experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain or inventory management. Strong negotiation and supplier management skills. Experience with quotations, contracts and purchasing systems. Strong organisational, communication and IT skills. Desirable: Experience within automotive, commercial vehicle, engineering, refrigeration or transport sectors. Knowledge of stock control, inventory management and supply chain operations.
