Quarry Operator

Location: Co. Cork
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: €46,500 per annum

The role involves operating heavy plant machinery, carrying out equipment checks, and maintaining safe and efficient quarry operations.

Key Duties

  • Operate excavators, loading shovels, haul trucks, and crushing/screening equipment
  • Assist with aggregate production and vehicle loading
  • Complete daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
  • Report faults and mechanical issues
  • Follow all health and safety procedures
  • Support efficient site operations as part of a team

Job Requirements
Requirements
1-2 years' experience operating heavy plant machinery in quarrying, construction, civil engineering, or similar environments
Valid driving licence
Strong health and safety awareness
Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
