Job Description

Our client located in Dublin, an engineering and design firm specializing in technical environments and industrial facilities, is seeking a Revit Designer to support the development of coordinated 3D models and construction documentation. The ideal candidate will have strong experience using Revit in a multidisciplinary setting, with a focus on technical accuracy and model organization. This is a full-time, on-site role within a collaborative design team.


Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Create and manage detailed Revit models for architectural, structural, or MEP design

  • Interpret and apply technical drawings, BIM execution plans, and project specifications

  • Produce layouts, sections, and construction documentation from 3D models

  • Coordinate with engineers, architects, and other designers to ensure model consistency

  • Assist in clash detection and interdisciplinary coordination using Navisworks or similar tools

  • Develop and maintain Revit families and templates in line with company standards

  • Incorporate design revisions and maintain accurate versioning throughout the project lifecycle

  • Support project delivery by ensuring model quality, data integrity, and documentation standards

  • Participate in BIM coordination meetings and support digital design workflows


 
Job Requirements
Technical Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (minimum 2 years of experience required)
- Experience in industrial, commercial, or technical building projects preferred
- Familiarity with coordination tools such as Navisworks, BIM 360, or Solibri
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and basic understanding of IFC workflows
- Ability to read and apply architectural and engineering plans and details
- Strong organizational skills and an eye for detail in model development
- Understanding of BIM standards and model collaboration principles (ISO 19650, etc.)

Education and Experience:
- Degree or diploma in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of Revit experience in a professional setting
- Experience working in design offices, engineering consultancies, or technical contractin
- Knowledge of cleanroom or controlled environment projects is a plus
- Willingness to work on-site and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
