Job Description
Our client is looking for Robotics Automation Designers to join their team based in Cork that supports the Automotive, Medcial Device, Pharma industries etc. This a great opportunity to be a part of a highly dedicated team of engineers/technicians working on using Robots for Automation projects. Having SolidoWorks, EPLAN, RoboDK, PLC programming is a plus.

Duties Include :

  • Experience programming Robots for Automation applications
  • Support and communicate effectively with the Engineer Manager with defining work packages, planning and organizing automation activities.
  • Modifications to design and manage design changes
  • Complete all documentation to the highest quality
  • Carry out basic electrical troubleshooting when required.
  • Ensure quality in projects for usability, reliability and manufacturability.
  • Complete all documentation to the highest quality and oversee all acceptance testing.

Job Requirements
Essential Requirements

- 3+ years’ experience working within Automation/Mechatronics/Robotics Environment.
- SolidWorks or equivalent experience required.
- EPLAN and RoboDK is a plus
- PLC programming is a plus
- Understanding B.O.M.
- Knowledge of Industrial Automation/Robotics.
- Positive attitude towards work with a willingness to continually learn.
