Specialising in Flat Roofing, Slate Roofing, and Solar PV Installation. We are seeking an experienced Roofer to join our construction team, with specialisms in flat roofing, slate roofing, and solar photovoltaic PV installation. The successful candidate will work on a variety of residential and commercial projects, delivering high-quality roofing solutions tailored to client needs. Key Responsibilities: Install, repair, and replace flat roofs using materials such as bitumen, single-ply membranes, and liquid waterproofing systems Carry out slate roofing installation and repairs, including cutting, fixing, and replacing slats Install and maintain solar PV panels on new and existing roofs, ensuring correct integration with roofing systems Inspect roofs to determine the best repair procedures and identify necessary materials Measure and cut roofing materials to fit corners, edges, and roof features Install insulation, vapour barriers, and ventilation systems as required Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with building regulations and health & safety requirements Set up scaffolding, ladders, and safety equipment for roof access Remove debris and maintain cleanliness at the job site Communicate effectively with site managers, clients, and team members Requirements: Proven experience as a roofer, with demonstrated expertise in flat roofing, slate roofing, and solar PV installation Knowledge of various roofing systems and materials Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions Good physical fitness and balance Attention to detail and commitment to quality Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certificates (preferred) Full driving licence (preferred) What We Offer: Competitive rates and ongoing work Training and upskilling opportunities, including solar PV installation Supportive team environment Opportunities for career progression Soc 5313
