Job Description
Arrive on time, in full uniform, with high standards of hygiene and grooming.
Lead the kitchen team, supporting smooth daily operations and a positive work environment.
Collaborate with the Head Chef on menus, recipes, and culinary development.
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to company standards.
Supervise and train junior chefs, supporting skill development and performance.
Manage stock, ordering, and portion control to minimise waste and control costs.
Ensure full compliance with HACCP, food safety, fire safety, and health & safety regulations.
Liaise between the kitchen and other departments to ensure smooth communication.
Report accidents and maintenance issues promptly in line with company policy. 
Undertake additional duties as required by operational needs.

Job Requirements
Requirements
Minimum of five years' experience in a chef or related culinary role, with proficiency in advanced cooking techniques and kitchen management.
Demonstrated experience supervising and developing a kitchen team in a hotel or high-volume hospitality environment.
Strong working knowledge of HACCP, food safety legislation, and health & safety compliance.
Relevant culinary qualification (e.g., City & Guilds, QQI Level 6 Professional Cookery, or equivalent).
Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments.
Eligibility to work in Ireland.
