Are you a board-certified specialist in child and adolescent psychiatry seeking a new opportunity?

We are offering a position at a well-structured outpatient clinic in a scenic small-town environment in central Sweden, with a stable organization, supportive colleagues, and good quality of life.


About the clinic

The outpatient service provides psychiatric care for children and adolescents aged 6-18 years, including assessment, diagnostics, treatment, and acute interventions during daytime. Conditions include depression, anxiety disorders, ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, bipolar disorder and other comorbidities.

You will work in a multidisciplinary team consisting of psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, social workers and other professionals. The service is well-organized and collaborates closely with inpatient units and specialized services such as eating disorder care.

Your role

  • As a specialist you will work with both planned and acute patient cases.
  • Normally, you will have 4-5 patient consultations per day, often together with another professional.
  • After an introduction period, daytime weekend on-call duty (approx. every 8th weekend) may be included. No night work.
  • Participation in collegial meetings, supervision, and development work is encouraged.

We are looking for candidates who

  • Hold an EU-recognized specialist certification in family medicine
  • Have broad clinical competence and experience working with patients of all ages
  • Strong motivation to learn Swedish
  • Are team-oriented, with strong communication skills
  • Are interested in working with digital healthcare solutions and further developing primary care
