We are seeking an experienced and passionate Tandoor Specialist Chef with expertise in preparing authentic Indian tandoori breads and kebabs. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating the tandoor oven, preparing a variety of traditional breads and grilled dishes, maintaining high food quality standards, and ensuring full compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
Job Requirements
1. Minimum 3 years' experience working as a Tandoor Chef in an Indian restaurant or hotel.
2. Strong knowledge of traditional Indian breads, kebabs, and tandoori cooking techniques.
3. Ability to prepare high-quality marinades and spice blends.
4. Experience operating commercial tandoor ovens safely.
5. Good understanding of food safety, HACCP, and kitchen hygiene practices.
6. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
7. Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
8. Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality.
9. Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
10. Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
