Our client, Gutyiera Limited, based in Donabate, Co. Dublin, is currently seeking a Topographer for immediate start at their facility in Turvey Lane, Donabate, Co. Dublin, K36 P589.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct topographic surveys using a range of modern surveying equipment (e.g., total stations, GPS, 3D scanners, drones).
- Produce accurate site maps, contour models, and digital terrain models (DTMs) from collected data.
- Collaborate with civil engineers, architects, and construction teams to provide detailed spatial information for planning and design.
- Process, analyze, and present geospatial data using CAD and GIS software.
- Assist in setting out sites, verifying dimensions, and providing elevation data to support project teams.
- Maintain accurate records of field data, methodologies, and observations.
- Ensure compliance with company safety standards and quality control procedures on all survey-related activities.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest surveying technologies and techniques.
- Survey and map land surfaces to support major construction and engineering projects
- Working closely with project managers, engineers, and site teams, to ensure the accuracy and reliability of site data from pre-construction through to completion.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree or diploma in Topography, Geomatics, Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in a topographic surveying role, preferably in civil engineering or construction environments.
- Proficiency in survey tools and software, including AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble, Leica, or similar systems.
- Strong knowledge of topographic principles, GPS technology, and geospatial data management.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and team collaboration abilities.
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel to site locations
- Experienced and detail-orientated individual
Annual Remuneration: €40,000.00; Pay rate €19.73 per hour
